LAUNCESTON police hope to run internet safety presentations at schools across the town following their success at St Josephs.
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) tackles child sex abuse and provides advice on safe internet use.
PC Johnny Haynes said: Were looking at expanding the CEOPs presentations in schools around town. Ive done the whole of St Josephs myself and were looking to expand that to Launceston College and the primary schools, to educate young people about the dangers online with grooming and paedophilia.

Manuel Llorente fired Athletic Bilbao into the Europa League final with an 88th-minute strike as his side overturned a first-leg deficit to see off Sporting Lisbon 3-1 at the Estadio San Mames.

While his presentation concerned of up-to-the-minute technology, Tom Rich gave timeless advice. Rich said parents have to be involved in their children’s lives. He said children should be confident about themselves and nice to others. And he said everyone needs to be careful with your choices because their actions can effect your environment, positively and negatively.

Perhaps if Cuban would have sent Odom home after his All-Star break personal leave, he might have felt differently. But with just nine games left when Cuban finally banished Odom after their locker-room confrontation during halftime of Saturdays game at Memphis, Cuban said its just not worth it.
